Team Head

Design is responsible
for revising
and redoing
designs at the
customer's request
several times
a day.
Unlike document
files, the volume
of design files
run from tens
to hundreds
of MB; therefore,
by nature, they
can't be transmitted
through mail.
Thus, to share
data with customers,
they are renting
5GB of web storage
space. However,
the monthly
fixed expense
is a burden,
and due to the
limit of 5GM,
existing files
have to be deleted
to make space
for any newly
edited customer
data to be uploaded.
In such a case,
whether the
files can be
deleted or not
must be checked
each time.
A more significant
problem is that
since each client
is given only
one ID, those
logging in to
receive data
may access folders
other than those
of the relevant
customer, raising
concerns for
data security,
which is a concern
to General Manager
00. |

Customers
request correction/editing
all day long,
and unless the
company applies
for additional
capacity, data
must be deleted
from the web
storage in use
each time. This
has become routine,
and the staff
is working on
it, although
this process
is overly time-consuming.
One difficulty
emerged recently
when a client
expressed a
complaint. They
were upset that
although the
products are
not identical,
the company
was working
on another company's
advertisement,
which was providing
the same service.
The client staff
in charge had
noticed in the
web storage
the title of
the folder that
belongs to another
client. Had
there been important
data in the
folder, it may
have led to
a leakage in
vital information,
so General Manager
00 is intensely
concerned about
data security
and leakage
prevention in
shared files.

That's
why Team Head 00 and
General Manager 00
chose WISEGIGA. |
|
|
 |
|
|
Since
a large volume web
storage of 200GB is
provided by WISEGIGA,
there was no longer
the need to delete
files due to capacity
limitations.
Since clients were
granted a separate
ID and shared folders
were created for data
sharing, there was
no longer any concern
for data leakage.
Also, if data is created
and stored in Macintosh,
its compatibility
allows it can be directly
shared in the IBM
computer platform,
so the issue of storage
space in Macintosh
was also resolved.
Uploading and downloading
data were also done
by designating a network
drive, so files could
be run with a double
click and save/edit
functions became possible,
doubling staff work
efficiency. |
